Climate: Weather tends to be changeable throughout the year, although conditions during winter are likely to be the most settled. Winter temperatures can be very low due to cold easterly winds and snow is normal. Rainfall is low in winter, the wettest seasons being spring and summer. Summers are generally moderately warm but at times can be hot. Jan is the coldest month and July the hottest.
