Climate: Subtropical oceanic climate with fairly high temperatures and humidity in summer (Dec?Apr). At this time of the year, tropical cyclones are an occasional hazard with very high winds and torrential rain. Winter is from June?Sep with temperatures averaging 77°F, cooling in the evenings; in Jan and Feb temperatures rise to around 86°F. The humidity rarely drops below 75% and rises to about 85%.
